Our Next Monthly Meeting - May 6th 2026- Lucie Conoley: Fleurs of Litchfield
In April, we welcomed Julie Bretland from Artelium Wine Estate, an artisanal producer, very close to us in Arundel. It was great to hear Julie’s story and to celebrate the success of Artelium, one of a growing number of English producers achieving major recognition worldwide. https://www.artelium.com/
For our May meeting we're looking forward to meeting Lucie Conoley, co-owner of Fleurs of Litchfield, based in Madehurst. She'll be doing a talk on sustainability in floristry and demonstrating how to put a bowl of flowers together. There will be an opportunity to buy bouquets, fresh from their flower farm- further details available soon. Meanwhile, you can find out more about them at https://fleursoflitchfield.co.uk/
Beyond our monthly meetings, we host a vibrant calendar of events throughout the year. Our members enjoy everything from visits to national exhibitions and stately home tours, to local garden walks and fundraising socials. Our events are generally open to Arundel WI members only, although from time to time we do open them up to non-members.
While most events involve a modest extra cost or a discretionary donation, many are tied to our annual charity fundraising. These outings are a fantastic way to socialise in a more relaxed setting while supporting great causes.

After a fascinating talk at our November meeting, this charity fundraiser visit to Toovey’s, the leading auctioneers of Fine Art, Antiques and Collectables in the South East of England, promises to be very popular.
Join us this June for a truly royal outing to The King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace. We’ll be exploring the landmark exhibition, Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style, celebrating the centenary of her birth.
With over 200 items on display—including her iconic Coronation dress and personal jewellery—this is the largest collection of the late Queen’s fashion ever staged. It’s a wonderful opportunity to discover the stories behind the most famous wardrobe in history.
