The Monthly Meetings

Monthly meetings are the core of every WI in the country - we hold 12 (some WI's hold 11 with a month off for a holiday). Held on the first Wednesday evening of the month the cost of these is included in your membership. 

Meetings topics vary enormously and can include anything from an expert talk on skincare to crafting or quizzing and everything in between. They are a chance to catch up with friends and meet new people,  learn something new or remember something old! To find out what is happening at the National Level of WI and perhaps join a group or go on an outing with other AWI members.

We always include a drink and a 'nibble' and the old WI adage that 'you don't need to bring your handbag' is a core philosophy of ours. (i.e. you don't need to bring any money with you). Having said that we do hold a monthly raffle with a variety of lovely prizes for those that might like to donate towards our running costs and our quarterly 'super raffles' where all proceeds go to our two Charities for 2025-6 - The Chestnut Tree House and Elevensies at the Lido.

Skin Care as we get older

Why not come to one of our monthly meetings and see if Arundel WI is for you? Meetings are held on Wednesday evening 7-9pm (normally the first in the month ) at the Cathedral Centre, London Road, Arundel BN18 9AT. 

A typical meeting will involve a speaker, an activity or a social evening, with a break in the middle and a chance to meet old and new friends over a drink and a piece of cake as well as an update on what groups are doing or events are planned as well as the ever popular raffle!
