Q. Do I have to pay to join the Arundel WI at the first meeting?
A. No you don't. The first meeting is free (with the exception of meetings where we have a 'special guest'). The second meeting we will ask you to donate a £7 entrance fee and we would hope by the third meeting you will join!
Q. Do I have to come to all of the meetings of the Arundel WI?
A. No you don't. Once you have paid your membership just pick those you would like to come to. We hope you like the topics that you will come to a lot of them and catch up with your WI friends but it's fine if you don't. If you simply want to join the Arundel WI to access the groups & events that is fine.
Q. Do I have a say on what happens at the Arundel WI?
A. Yes you do - let the Committee know what you think would be a good idea and help us organise and set up groups & events. Join the committee and get even more involved!
Q. Are the Arundel WI Committee paid?
A. No, they are not, they are all volunteers giving up their time to help organise meetings, groups and events or outings - so be kind if they aren't doing what you would like and help where you can. Remember we are always open to new ideas!
Q. Can I just attend the groups?
A. Yes, but you must join the Arundel WI before you can access the groups. Once a member, you can attend any of the groups. Some of which may involve a payment. If you just want to attend groups and not any of the meetings that is fine.
Q. Can I just attend meetings?
A. Yes, but you must be a member of Arundel WI before attending all the meetings. If you just want to attend meetings and not any of the groups that is fine.
Q. Can I be a Committee Member?
A. All members can 'stand' to be a committee member.
Q. I think I or my organisation could be of interest to the Arundel WI - what do I do?
A. Please let us know either at a meeting or in confidence email arundelwi@wsfwi.co.uk
